[quote=SamtheMan!!]Seems as if him fire some man and start chat back 2 Kinnear and co.
Soccer notebook: Dynamo want roster upgrade Club confirms negotiations with Jamaican Watson
Although optimistic about the team they put together, coach Dominic Kinnear and Dynamo president Chris Canetti entered the season admitting the club wasn't a finished product.
Just in case the message hadn't been delivered, Kinnear called his team toward the center circle Wednesday at the Carl Lewis Complex to remind the players he isn't afraid to make changes.
He punctuated the lecture with a salty crescendo.
To paraphrase, Kinnear told the players they must embrace the Dynamo way or else.
Even before Friday night's game against the Seattle Sounders, the Dynamo were moving in directions that could alter their lineup.
Attacking midfielder JeVaughn Watson resurfaced on the club's radar, and the Jamaican international's new representatives seem more eager than they were four weeks ago to get a deal done with the Dynamo.
That's not all. It's an understatement to say the club has been closely monitoring the potential availability of an offensive option that could be a hit at the box office and, more importantly, a huge boost to the attack.
On Wednesday, the Dynamo began doing their due diligence on a star who is known to talent evaluators in Europe and Latin America.
This talent would have to come in as a designated player, so the Dynamo at this time aren't divulging the player's name to avoid a bidding war with teams from international leagues.
For now, the club is only confirming the renewed negotiations with Watson, who earned the Dynamo's initial offer after impressing during a three-week trial this past month.
"I can confirm that we've reopened conversations with people representing JeVaughn Watson," Canetti said. "Over the next couple days, we expect to have more clarity whether we can make this transfer a reality."
It might take as long as three weeks or happen as early as Wednesday, but it wouldn't be a surprise if the team has a makeover that creates a ripple effect that would cause changes to the starting lineup in the midfield, defense and forwards.
As Kinnear told the team Wednesday, he's not afraid to make changes.
He has tried to make some upgrades for more than two weeks. Spain awaits
The U.S. national team is set to face defending World Cup champion Spain on June 4 at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Mass.
"Spain is clearly one of the most talented teams in the world," U.S. coach Bob Bradley said in a statement. "We value the opportunity to test ourselves against a team of their quality, and we couldn't ask for a better match to prepare for the Gold Cup."
The contest will serve as a preparation match for the Gold Cup, which will hold its semifinals at Reliant Stadium on June 22. National honors

I guess Fredrico is out of a job now. Lol. So we can assume the Uk permit deal flopped now hes back to the old cheap bush league offer now. There was never any deal with Birmingham City to start with... If Watson had had an official trial with Birmingham City, it would been reported on both the club's website and the English football press. I enquired and never got back an answer so that pretty much confirms what I've said from the start... Watson and his representatives used Birmingham's name to up the ante with Houston. They've come back for him so it must have worked. Trials for Premiereship clubs and work permit applications are very serious issues in English football and are not kept hidden from anyone. Omar Cummings trialing at Aston Villa was a prime example; it was all over the British football community and press. It would have been the same with Birmingham and Jevaughn Watson had there been any truth to what he, himself, claimed.

HOUSTON – The Houston Dynamo may very well get their man in the end. After negotiations fell apart earlier this year with Jamaican national team starter JeVaughn Watson, talks have since reopened after the player hired new representatives who are working with the Dynamo on the framework of a deal. “We’re continuing to carry on conversations with [Watson’s representatives] and are working to get a deal done,†said Dynamo president of business operations Chris Canetti. Watson trialed with Houston in the preseason, appearing in four matches against Houston Baptist University, FC Dallas, Sporting Kansas City and the Columbus Crew. The central midfielder was active on the pitch and impressed Dynamo head coach Dominic Kinnear enough to prompt the club to enter into negotiations to bring him to Houston. However, at the time his representatives were asking for Designated Player money, which effectively ended the Dynamo’s pursuit of the Jamaican midfielder. Thomas B. Shea/Getty The switch to a new agent has meant the two sides were able to reengage in contract discussions. The Dynamo are clearly not done looking for players who can help right now. “We think we had a good offseason but we’ve acknowledged that we’re not the finished product,†Canetti said. “We think the back line has been solidified with the additions we made there and we’re still out there looking for players who can help us o

I watch him in the last two Reggaeboyz matches and he definately has the fitness and work rate to succeed in MLS. He has good size and ball control skills, now it is only a matter on team chemistry.

Dynamo nearing deal with midfielder Watson By JOSE DE JESUS ORTIZ Copyright 2011 Houston Chronicle April 6, 2011, 6:02PM
COLLEGE STATION — Negotiations have progressed to the point that the Dynamo are making arrangements to bring in attacking midfielder JeVaughn Watson from his native Jamaica so he can sign the deal later this week.
The speedy Watson, whom the Dynamo have tried to sign since he completed a three-week tryout early last month, is expected to bolster the attack.
"We've made substantial progress toward signing JeVaughn Watson," Dynamo president Chris Canetti said. "We're very optimistic about completing the deal over the next couple days.
"We're arranging to bring him in to Houston over the next couple days for him to sign the contract."
