I am joining the Ballaprof choir in calling for the return of Jermaine Hue. It is about time that he gets a run with the team and this is the perfect game to inject him into squad. It is evident that we are still missing the player to our midfield puzzle and he deserves a chance to show us that he can still help the team Jagga, you are an evil dude. Why are you playing with poor Ballaprof? He might even begin to believe that some of his points make sense. Jags, I think that you are in your anansi garb. Distributor1. I was all for giving Hue a chance as we need some spark in midfield. Since I have not seen him play in a while and after reading Blessed Love assessment of his recent game, I will ask to be excused from Ballerprof's chior Tappa Whitmore dont have the guts to recall Hue because he would be embarased to see the magic that would be displayed and then the media would come down on tappa, not to mention sports commmentery!!!!
WE only need the Best OF The Best!

Ric - I believe you misread my post boss. I was only comparing junior with Dane Richards style of play. Not in comparison to Jason and austin. Junior is a Canadian. He only have Jamaican roots thru his father. I think he should represent Canada but I heard his dad as a bit of vendetta with the CSA dating back when junior was playing in his early youth.

Sorry boss, a bit of misinterpretation but the real point of my post was that your assessment of Austin agrees with those of us who saw his limitations at the GC...
I haven't been shy is saying that he should not start for Jamaica and that better players are available to make the team better and stronger; I would keep him as an option as a defensive midfiled holder/destroyer and even start him there but only in that position and with strict instructions to play his role...
Tappa's dilemma seems to be that he doesn't realise that he's wasting a vital creative/attacking midfield position by compulsory playing both Austin and Morrison on the field at the same time...Jamaica loses all attacking momentum in its midfield with these two in the team together and will never play the game that Jamaica needs to play to challenge the better sides...
Not even the best counterattacking defensive-minded sides in the world play with two defensive central midfielders...its pure suicide.

I believe a prime example of what you just said led to one of the best halves of football by a Jamaican 11, the first half of the Jamaica vs Honduras game. Ironically neither of the protagonists mentioned above were apart of the midfield on the day.

Austin and Jason? Are you kidding me? Austin looked awful in the GC and Jason seem more like a defender than a midfielder. Both could prosper maybe in league one but not the championship and certainly not the EPL. I believe Cummings if fit would be a perfect fit for the championship and coming off the bench on a low table EPL team. But Dane Richards is a sure shot. He reminds me of that Canadian midfielder that plays for Blackburn. Can't real his name. Superb pace and speed. U talking 'bout Junior Hoillett, the Jamaican/Canadian balla ?How ironic or coincidental that you've mentioned him in comparing him to Austin and Morrison, with those two coming out in an unfavourable light in comparison.U've probably not read all the posts surrounding the question of Jamaica's foreign-born/qualified players, of which Hoillett is actually one and the different opinions that are swirling around about the merits and demerits of calling up these players to play for Jamaica... U've also probably not read the opinions of us who consider Rodolph Austin a complete IDIATT of a player who should not now be anywhere near Jamaica's starting 11 as opposed to who considers him god's gift to Jamaican football and who the team cannot function without. At least, from your point of view, your opinion of him that agrees with ours can be considered a neutral one... A million strong can be wrong. Ric, why disrespect the man like that, isn't it enough to say he's not good enough for the next level, how is he an idiot? After all it was him and JASON which carried us to this point of some respectability, so show some honor brethren.

China beats Laos 7-2 in WCup qualifying 5 hours, 2 minutes ago
tweet5EmailPrintKUNMING, China (AP)—China recovered from an early two-goal deficit to beat Laos 7-2 on Saturday in the first leg of their World Cup qualifying match.
A shock home defeat loomed for China when Laos went 2-0 up in the 32nd minute through goals from Soukaphone Vongchiengkham and Visay Phapouvanin.
But the introduction of striker Yang Xu as a substitute turned the game around as he scored a hat trick and China stormed to a convincing victory and moved to the brink of Asian group-stage qualifying.
Another substitute, midfielder Chen Tao, scored two goals, as did former Schalke midfielder Hao Junmin.
The return leg will be played in Laos on Thursday

Already, the 44th FIFA ranked Boyz have secured a game for the next official date on August 10, where they will tackle 73rd-rated China in the eastern city of Hefei. China were awesome yesterday in blowing away hapless Laos 6-1 in a return-leg World Cup qualifying tie to advance to the third round 13-3 on aggregate "China is a good side, so that's why we want to keep the momentum from the Gold Cup where we played good football going when we face them and any other opponent we get as we look to the qualifiers for Brazil 2014," Burrell noted. So we droped 6 places in the latest rankings and we gonna play 73rd rank team?even if we demolish them this wont help our ranking that much.We need oponents higher ranked than us not lower.

Some squad updates, players out due to injury for this matches:
Luton Shelton Dicoy Williams Donovan Ricketts Ricardo Fuller
I would look for Tappa to get maybe 2-3 of the top U23 players from Surinam.
