Tyrone
Marshall is a seasoned campaigner and is a player
with great skills, good speed, excellent understanding
of the game and the ability to play a variety
of positions. He made his international debut
for Jamaica on May 17th, 2000, against Romania
at Lockhart Stadium in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.
Tyrone was born November 12, 1974 in Jamaica and
is a former St. Georges College high school player.
He is a graduate of Florida International University
was drafted by the Colorado Rapids with the 11th
overall pick of the 1998 MLS College Draft.
Marshall
had a short one game stay with the Rapids and
then spent three and a half seasons with the Miami
Fusions. At Miami, Tyrone showed his potential
as he was used in the roles of forward, midfield
and defender. Marshall was then aquired by the
LA Galaxy, helping them to the 2002 MLS Cup. In
2005, his consistently solid performance earned
him a spot in the MLS Best XI.
