after playing to a 1-1 draw with daCosta Cup champions Cornwall
College in the return leg at Jarrrett Park yesterday. Norman Manley,
who had won the first leg 2-1 in Kingston, won the title 3-2 on
aggregate, giving them their second hold on the trophy.

underwent emergency surgery to remove a bullet from a shooting
that took place in his home area The operation was reported to
be successful and Bryan was resting well.

of Trinidad and Tobago at the St Anthony's College ground on Thursday
making it the third year in a row that Joe Public has captured
the Caribbean Club championship. Joe Public will join DC United/Los
Angeles Galaxy from the American MLS, CD Toluca/Pachuca CF of
Mexico, CD Olimpia/Real CD Espana of Honduras and LD Alajuelense
of Costa Rica in the Concacaf Club Championship in Los Angeles.

Feedback on the design of The Reggae Boyz jersey used in a photo
shoot recently has been negative and a new design will be unvailed
at a press conference at the JFF office in Jamaica, General secretary
of the Jamaica Football Federation, Horace Reid told the media
that fans would love the new design and it was different than
the current one.

Tyrone Marshall and Wolde Harris will play for Harbour View in
the Craven A Premier League now that they are on break from the
American MLS season. Harris recently signed a six-year deal with
the New England Revolution and has previously played for Harbour
View . He will partner with young national striker Fabian Taylor
up front. Marshall who plays for Miami Fusion in the MLS and right
back for Jamaica will add strength to the midfield and has been
training with Harbour View for the past month. .

Harris Signs Multi-Year Deal
Jamaican striker and MLS Revolutions striker Wolde Harris was
signed to a multiyear contract with Major League Soccer recently.
Harris, 26, scored 15 goals and recorded seven assists this season,
leading the Revolution in both goals and points (37) in the regular
season. Revolution coach Fernando Clavijo said that Harris has
all the physical tools, work ethic, and mental toughness to continue
his rapid development and thet Harris has just begun to reach
his full potential. Harris who was acquired from Colorado in February
in the MLS 2000 Super Drafthas scored in seven consecutive games
to tie the MLS record and also had a team-high five game-winning
goals.

Players For Final Round
Jamaica's Technical director Clovis deOliveira has hinted that
the team will be looking to introduce additional players for the
next round of qualifying games. Ricardo Gardner and Ricardo Fuller
are amoung the players expected to be back with the team. He stated
that they were also thinking about Jamie Lawrence, Darryl Powell,
Frank Sinclair, Darren Moore and Michael Johnson who are all still
eligable to play. Clovis said he would like to have two tough
international games at the beginning of February to get the Reggae
Boyz match-ready for the World Cup qualifying game against Trinidad
and Tobago on February 28 but the dates or the opponents have
not been finalised.

View Still Alive In CONCACAF Club Championship
Harbour View FC returned to Jamaica after participation in the
Caribbean zone of the CONCACAF Club championship in Trinidad.
Harbour View lost their first game 1-3 to W Connections, but then
had a 2-1 victory over Club Carioca of Haiti to put them on three
points from two games. In other games played, Joe Public edged
W Connections 1-0. W Connections lead the group with four points
from their three games, while Joe Public are next on three from
one game, with Club Carioca on one from two games.

FC Champions Cup Schedule Announced
The final round schedule for the 2000 FC Champions Cup was announced
at a ceremony by the Football Confederation Executive Committee
in Guatemala City. Seven of the eight finalists are CD Toluca
and Pachuca CF of Mˇxico, D.C. United and Los Angeles Galaxy of
USA, CD Olimpia and Real CD Espa–a of Honduras and LD Alajuelense
of Costa Rica. The final team will be the winner of the Caribbean
Zone which is contested by Joe Public FC and Vibe CT W Connection
(Trinidad & Tobago), Harbour View FC (Jamaica) and Carioca FC
(Haiti).

Final Round qualifying draw for the 2002 FIFA World Cup
The draw for the Final Round of Football Confederation qualifying
for the 2002 FIFA World Cup was held 19 November at the Westin
Camino Real in Guatemala City. Teams will play each other twice,
home and away, in a round-robin format. The first set Final Round
games will be played on 27- 28 February 2001, with the final set
to be played 10- 11 November 2001. All matches in both the ninth
round (6-7 October 2001) and the tenth and final round must be
